The non-crystallinity of prepared BTE glasses was examined by the X-ray diffraction method. The very important mechanical properties such as elastic moduli, Debye temperature, Poisson’s ratio, fractional bond connectivity, softening temperature, acoustic impedance, and the thermal expansion coefficient of the BTE glasses have been studied by measuring ultrasonic velocity. The experimental results indicate that the calculated parameters strongly depend on increasing Eu<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> concentration. The elastic moduli of the prepared samples were found to decrease with Eu<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> concentration and this increases the discontinuity in the glass network.</p>}, number={2}, journal={Journal of Metals, Materials and Minerals}, author={DEVARAJA, Chinnappareddy and GOWDA, G V Jagadeesha and ERAIAH, Bheemaiah and MURTHY, G K Narasihma}, year={2022}, month={Jun.}, pages={56–62} }
