Results of compressive strength and durability of the concrete containing B-F and B-C aggregates were investigated. Normal fine and coarse aggregates were replaced with the B-F and B-C aggregates at 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% by weight of the normal aggregates. The results showed that the compressive strengths of the concretes were increased when the B-F and B-C aggregates were used at replacement levels of 25% and 50%. The water absorption and chloride resistances of the concretes were reduced with curing age. Moreover, it was found that the use of B-F and B-C aggregates in concretes effectively improved the compressive strength and the chloride resistances at low replacement levels of 25 and 50%.</p> ER -
