***Call for papers for a Special Thematic Section (STS)***
Dear esteemed colleagues,
On behalf of the Journal of Metals, Materials and Minerals (JMMM), we are pleased to announce a call for papers for a Special Thematic Section (STS) on the topic of "Materials for Energy and Bio-Circular-Green Economy and Sustainability." This Special Thematic Section marks the 33rd anniversary of the journal, and we are excited to continue our tradition of promoting cutting-edge research in the field of materials science and engineering.
JMMM STS will focus on the latest advancements in materials technology aimed at promoting sustainability, circularity, and the transition towards a bio-circular-green economy. We invite original research papers, reviews, and perspectives on the following subtopics:
- Composite and hybrid materials
- Concrete and cement-based systems
- Ceramics, glass, and refractory
- Semiconductors
- Polymeric and polymer-based materials
- Fabric and textiles
- Nanomaterials and thin films
- Biomaterials
- Functional materials & smart materials
We offer a speedy review of manuscripts to incentivise submission of qualified papers, allowing authors to receive feedback in a timely manner. Accepted papers will also be published online as soon as they are ready, providing early exposure for the authors.
Moreover, the approved manuscripts will be featured in a distinctive print edition of the Journal of Metals, Materials, and Minerals, providing authors with an exceptional chance to exhibit their research before a worldwide audience. It is important to note, however, that the JMMM STS only has a limited capacity of 20 manuscripts.
Important Dates:
Submission of manuscript: Until Aug 31st, 2023
Notification of acceptance: Within 60 days, after passing pre-screening
Publication of the Special Issue: In 2023
Please submit your papers through the journal's online submission system, indicating in the cover letter that the paper is intended for the Special Thematic Section (STS) on "Materials for Energy and Bio-Circular-Green Economy and Sustainability".
