PVSEC-36
The 36th International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC-36) 2025
The International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC) was established in 1984 as a platform for participants to present and discuss issues related to solar power generation. The conference covers a wide range of topics, including the fundamental properties of the photovoltaic effect, solar cell materials and processes, solar cell modules and peripherals, and photovoltaic systems, as well as strategies for promoting the widespread adoption of solar energy. Its aim is to advance academic scholarships in relevant fields, from fundamental research to practical applications, and to contribute to the enrichment of society.
In 2025, PVSEC will be held in Thailand, the 36th International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC-36), which will be held at Chulalongkorn university, Bangkok, Thailand, from the 9th to 14th in November 2025. PVSEC-36 will provide an excellent platform for the world’s photovoltaic scientists and engineers to showcase and share the latest developments in solar PV technologies. The conference will feature six key areas, highlighting impacts ranging from advanced PV technologies influencing global and regional markets to concrete advancements in materials aimed at enhancing high-efficiency solar cells. These areas include wafer-based silicon PV, thin-film PV and modules, perovskite and emerging PV, system engineering and field performance, as well as cross-cutting topics.
Join PVSEC-36 in Bangkok, a dynamic city where traditional meets innovation, and be part of an inspiring international forum that will shape the future of photovoltaics and sustainable energy. The conference aims to stimulate global awareness of solar electricity to improve quality of life and promote sustainability. We look forward to welcoming you to PVSEC-36 and sharing the excitement of this impactful global event.
The guest editorial team, which is led by Dr. Rongrong Cheacharoen would like to invite high-quality papers for submission to the Journal of Metals, Materials, Minerals (JMMM).
